Had a party this Friday night and played a couple quick games just for the heck of it.

Notes: Next up was a "real" game. Annie did what she normally does. Spends a ton of money on luxuries early, then tries to hang on and just beat out the person with the least amount of money. Dan kept saying, "Remember, Annie, you lose if you have no money." It almost worked, but then Annie was forced to take the tax evasion card late. I thought I could make it, but Dan made me pay too much to avoid the income tax evasion (he had the first bid). It was a clever play. If I had held on, I would have had 24 points (Annie had $29 Million left while I had only $26 Mil).
The game, I should note, was kind of weird. The first 10 auctions were the 10 luxuries. Dan was freaking out about that.
Karla waited for the expensive stuff to go and then grabbed some medium-sized luxuries for a better price and managed to grab a recognition card for really cheap.
