Dan and I met for a game of Duel of Ages Friday afternoon, when I got out of work.

| Mike | 4 | 1 | |
| Dan | 3 | 2 | |
Teams:
| White (Dan) | Black (Mike) | |
| Titanium Renegade (the Cyborg) | Flicker (the Stealthmistress) | |
| Raygun Roger (the Gallant Space Hero) | Ace Cannon (the Quarterback) | |
| Yori Blackpad (the Cave Dweller) | Smoke (the Infiltrator) | |
| Baron Von Krule (the Master Villain) | Mogred Ghan (the Crime Lord) |
Smoke was great. He was impossible to hit with his White Stealth rating, and he was a good shot. He was also responsible for killing Baron Von Krule, as Dan left him alone, and he was killed by the Sentinel right when Smoke set it up. The Baron was caught with no where to go (Flicker had a gun behind him), so he ran into a Smoke and Sentinel crossfire. This also cost team white Damon Raven, as the henchman disappeared when the Baron was killed.
The match continued, but team white etched into team black's lead, trying to take points while having a firm grip on the Ruins of Cany XII (my best Point character had only a blue - yech), and his sentinel kept watch on the future labyrinth. Still, with my superiority in manpower, and the tremendous amount of cards that Ace Cannon kept collecting - he's fast AND every labyrinth kept turning up Throw challenges! - I was more than capable of staying ahead. What helped also was that Mogred Ghan was able to overcome his slow movement (3!) by means of a Skiff. The Titanium Renegade also picked up a Persian horse and was cruising all over the damn place.
There was very little hand to hand combat, though Ace Cannon had to fight off a wolf, and eventually, Ace Cannon took out Raygun Roger with a Black Bomb, lowering Team white's crew to 2. The game ended when Karla showed up, and although Team White had the Future and Ancient labyrinths (as well as Cany XII), Team Black won by having the Royal Tournament, Mercenary Camp, and Modern labyrinths, as well as having more men. The dice were somewhat cruel to Dan, but he did a nice job maximizing his efforts when things went poorly.
