One last bonus night of games, highlighted by some yummy Thai food, just before Mike took off.

Notes: Dan took care of the 12 and the 2, but Mike smooshed him anyway.

Notes: First time for everyone. Karla had a TON of $$$ the whole game, thinking it would help with victory points at the end. Apparently the explanation wasn't clear enough. Mike was poorest, but managed to get one or two big development cards and had the majority in both pilgrims and ships. It wouldn't have been enough (Dan had more $$$ for the tiebreaker), but Karla took away Dan's barn majority on the last turn, taking away 3 points for herself. We all enjoyed the game. I thought it might be a little dry, but it had a very nice flow. There's very little down-time, and there is a lot more moves where one must invest in the long term than I thought there'd be. I gave it an "8".

Notes: Dan destroyed us. Somehow, he (again) got the majority of Pharaohs all three rounds, but this time he managed to nab a bunch of river & flood tiles to embarrass us even further. The 3-player game is MUCH quicker, and Dan liked it more. I liked it, too, although I had incredible bad luck the first round, as I didn't get to use my highest-pointed tile since the Ra tile appeared every other tile-draw. Mike had all of 4 points after the first round, and suffered minuses every turn.
