2
February 2003 - The year started Street ride through
Mission Valley and up into Serra Mesa for a
beer check and then back down into the Valley, ending at Joe's Crab
Shack, where we received horrible
service and an outrageous bill

23 February 2003 - The day was
overcast and cold, yet a dozen riders came out to follow a trail laid by
Pith Me through the streets of Pacific Beach and La Jolla coast, ending
back at the PB Beach Bar & Grill for the all you can eat brunch.

30 March 2003 - Martha F*ing
Stewart returned to the bike hash with C Fuc Run to lay a trail through
the rolling hills of Del Mar down into Cardiff by the Sea. At this
run Pith Me took over as one of the new Hare of the Dog's GMs and did gave
some of the best down downs I have heard in some time. One of my
favorite down down's was for Martha who not only used the same trial for
this HOTD ride he used two years ago, he used the same notes from two years ago to lay the trail.

13 April 2003 - Boys in the
Bush & Contra Dick teamed up to lay a trail starting in "God's
Country" Clairmont Square shopping center, ending in Old Town.
Between the two points they took the pack through every valley and ravine
possible. The trail included two beer checks and across a
newly built bike bridge built by Boys in the Bush, solely for this ride!

27 April 2003 - Jockey Box and
Keg haired on this date in competition with the La Jolla half
marathon. Those who choose to run the half missed a great ride which
included a mountain bike and street trail both with incredible views.

11 May 2003 - Barbie Biker
Bitch and DNR hared a ride in Balboa Park. A very cool trail, with
loops and off road thrills and more loops, all probably not more than a
mile of the start. The ride ended where it started at the Dog Park
where Down Downs were held while we snacked on junk food (North County
Style).

08 June 2003 - Shane &
Pigeon took us on a ride through the back hills of Santee. Majority of
the ride through an undeveloped area, the locals continue to fight to keep
from become another sprawling subdivision. The trail which was almost
all off rode ended at that cool Mexican place on the way into Clan-tee.

22 June 2003 - Boys and the Bush
& Scratchy took us on another Down hill adventure through Nobel canyon.
(If you have not been out to this park lately, you are missing out on some
of the beautiful sites San Diego has to offer) A terrific ride
followed by some of the most outrageous down downs made the drive out to the
mountain all worth wide.

6 July 2003 - Turtle and
Sacuhatchi took us on a ride down through Rancho Skinny Penis canyon.
The ride ended in Sacuhatchi's back yard where we were served burnt weenies
and beer. It was a good day to ride.

31Aug 2003 - Pinball, Plucky
& DNR laid a trail through Mission Trails Regional Park that almost did
not happen. Apparently a few weeks early in the year hash ran off
trail in the park and really pissed off the rangers, so they had been
monitoring our web site and called SDPD when the HOTD ride start was
posted. It all worked out and we simply moved the end to the
Tierrasanta Rec Center just down the rode.

There were some other rides hared by
Pith Me, Jockey Box, Keg, and Boys in the Bush. Sorry I missed those
rides.
