| To My Darling Son Mike, Well..........Another big day over with. We had a barb-b-cue on Saturday in memory of your 21st Birthday, it started at 12noon and finished at 12 midnight!!!! 73 people turned up!!!!! 73 people who came especially for you We lit candles for you and let off 100 red and white ballons, (Did you catch them SON?) We also had a comment book that everyone wrote their special memories of you. It was lovely to read, such lovely words and how not only me, but everyone still misses you so terribly. My biggest fear is that your memory will fade and everyone will forget you, but I don`t think they ever will Mike, not after reading what they all wrote. Lots of your old school friends came, as well as your good mates, Darren, Luke, Wayne, Adam and Ollie. Ollie wrote his message to you as Micelangelo and from Donattello!! (Do you remember that?) Shelly has so many memories of you, things I was not even aware of!!(Have to find out more about you from her later) Wayne and Adam got a card signed by so many of all your friends (it made me cry) And as for Darren.......your best mate, well it broke my heart all over again, just seeing how upset he was. I know it`s difficult for him to come to our house now that you are not here. Then of course there was all your family, Nan Granddad, Auntie Janet, Uncle Pat, Lisa, Tracy, Colin, Mitchell, Leah, Mark, Cheeyl, Uncle Terry and Lauren, who all must have found it just as hard as I did on the day. As for Me, Dad and your little sis Kate.........Well I won`t deny it was hard. I had to keep going upstairs to wipe my eyes. It was a nice special day, but would have been more SPECIAL if you had been with us!!! We have had a star named after you, so make sure it shines brightly so I can watch you at night. AwwwwwwwwwwMike I miss you sooooooooooo much. If only I could just have one more minute with you, I would tell you so much in that minute, but I would end it with I LOVE YOU SON.
