Ground-Breaking Ceremony Announced

The view from the Trinity Road side shows the outdated appearance of the stadium. If construction proceeds as planned, this view will look radically different in a couple of years, with a new operations building, and upgrades to the site roadways, walkways and landscaping.
No component of the stadium facility is more deserving of demolition than the press box.
No amount of flattery can disguise the image of this structure. Hopefully the end is in sight!
Although the ESA is a magnificent structure, the site landscaping is in its infancy and appears sparce. There is not yet a smooth transition between the stadium and arena. The current master plan for the complex includes a pedestrian concourse between the ESA and the north end of the stadium. The north endzone end of the stadium would eventually be enclosed with stands.
Overall improvements to the roadways, walkways and landscaping would be the finishing touches on an outstanding athletic complex.
Seeing a piece of construction equipment on site gave a brief spark of hope from a distance, but this little backhoe is likely just performing routine grading for the gravel drives. Hopefully before long fans will be able to see huge cranes from as far away as Wade Avenue and Hillsboro Street.
