| Joe Gray and Willie Wright provide the present and future of NC State tight ends. The senior Wright has bulked up to around 240 lb., which should get the attention of pro scouts. The junior Gray is also physically impressive at 6-5, 255, and will be the leading candidate to start next year. | ||||||||||||||||

| Andy Vanderveer has been extremely dependable entering his fifth season with the Wolfpack. Andy is an excellent blocker, has sure hands receiving, and a knack for getting open in the end zone. Vanderveer will see plenty of action this year backing up Willie Wright. | ||||||||||||||||
