| The defensive line has plenty of depth, and all positions are up for grabs. Shown here are Shane Riggs, Dyron Liverman, Drew Wimsatt, Renaldo Moses and Jerrick Hall. Shane Riggs was introduced at 290 lb., which all looks solid, and was co-champion on the bench at 475 lb. Wimsatt looks solid, hopefully with a healed back. Moses is lean, resembling a freshman Carl Reeves. Hall could have a breakout year, and is stronger, benching 405. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Corey Smith has really developed, heading into his fifth year. Along with Riggs, Smith led the team in the bench press with 475 lb. Smith also has excelled in running drills. He is determined not to lose his starting spot. Sean Locklear has slimmed down some, being introduced at 272 lb. Not known as a power player, Locklear surlrised fans by easily benching 405. |

| Fans have eagerly awaited the arrival of Shawn Price and Terrance Chapman, and the bookend junior college transfers appear to be enjoying their first day with the fans. Cracking the starting lineup is not a given for either Price or Chapman, but playing time will definitely be plentiful. Price looked light on his feet, then benched 425 lb. like he was picking up a newspaper. Chapman is bigger, resembling WIllie Wright in size at around 6-4, 240. |
