11.18.04: [I'm Back, Finally]

I haven't touched this website in a very long time. I apologize to anyone who has been here since the summer and has noticed absolutely NO progress. Well, that's all about to change.

Wondering what I've been up to? Well, a lot has been happening. First of all, the relationship between my long time girlfriend and I has gone through some "changes". As I wait for things in that area to mend, I'm finding myself burried up to my neck in class work, being that I am currently in my final Fall semester of college at Stockton (only one more semester left after this). I've been swamped with research and readings for so many classes, and it's not getting any easier to find time for my music, or even this website.

I have started a new band with past Malinger member Jeff and past Carfax Abbey bassist Paul, called IMI. We've been writing material for the past 4 months now, and I'd have to say, it's coming along very, very well. Expect to hear something soon from us.

As far as the[mikevirokproject], I haven't stopped writing new songs. I'm getting my material together for another studio effort to follow up the upcoming release, now due out in January 2005. Russ and I have been quite bogged down with life in general, and we haven't had time to fully grapple the issues pertaining to "Prepacked Wounds". But that is all about to change soon.

I've joined a website called PureVolume.com, which is similar to MP3.com (now defunct). It's really cool, and you can stream mp3's of 3 songs that will be on my upcoming EP. Follow the link in the music section of my site to get there.

Well, that's it for now. BTW, I did buy a Rav4 this summer, a black one. It rocks!!!!

6.18.04: [Ups and Downs...]

The past couple of days have been more stressful then ever. You see, it's not my musical career that I am at ends with, but rather everything else. I was a mere 3 hours away from driving my new RAV4 home from the lot when the dealer told me that it needed to be fixed and that the sale migh not be able to be completed. So, it was like going back to square one with this situation. But,he's looking at fixing it. Hopefully it'll be fixed. Eh...

6.17.04: [New Website Design]

Sometimes we need a fesh look on some old things. So, I decided to finally update the website and redesign all of the graphics. Thanks to some new programs, I can make some nifty little interactive graphics. More for people like me to play with when we get bored.

In album related news, "Prepackaged Wounds" is in the post production phase, which means we are busy mixing our assess off. It's hard to find the right sweet spot in this process, but with Russ D. at the helm, we're getting it done. Another thing to mention is that I recieved a new Ibanez Artwood AW100CENT on Friday, and it's amazing. This thing is great!

Oh yah, I'm shopping for a new car now too. Looking at a Toyota Rav4 right now.
