The Nest
--------
A CFS2 scene by Bill Beck. Apr 2002.

The Nest is a fictious locale on the coast of Oregon. This is my first scenery, and the focus is on the mesh terrain. Using a raw bitmap of 256 greyscale colors and the grises50.exe program of Jokin Bedialauneta, along with the Terrain SDK of MS, i created a wild terrain with huge cliffs, deep valleys, and some really wierd walls of water! Try dog fighting less manoveurable planes with heavy weather and low clouds forcing you to weave in and out of the terrain. Way fun.

INSTALLATION:

Just unzip where you like, and use the Scenery library of the Settings menu to add the scene. After that, you should find some airfields with Nest in the title, under "Advanced Goto..", when you click on "Scenery from FS95 and before".

If you want to throw out my crappy airfields and keep the terrain, just trash all the bgl's in the Nest scenery directory, but keep the one named "nest1terrainmesh.bgl". YOu'll have to remember the coords to get you there, though! Try N45*44.94 W123*47.38 Alt: 7000 ft.

Have fun!

As above, and also used ASD, Airport 2.6, and FS Scenery Creator for the airfields.
