I was born in Pittsburgh, and lived my first four years in Castle Shannon, a suburb south of Pittsburgh where Andy Warhol grew up, across the street from where he is now buried.
I then moved to and attended grades 1-8 at Bethel Park, south of Pittsburgh, at Washington Elementary, Neil Armstrong Middle, and Independence Middle.
After that, I moved to Mt. Lebanon, yet another suburb south of Pittsburgh, where I attended high school (I've heard Kevin Bacon attended Mt. Lebo High, for all you Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon players).
I graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a double major: Computer Science, and Film Studies. A weird combination, but if you've seen Jurassic Park or The Mask, or have simply been aware of the rapid merging of computers and media, then you'd understand.
I worked for Daxus Corporation, Nova Data, and Symbol Technologies while in Pittsburgh.
I moved to San Jose, California to work for Emmperative (formerly Magnifi) in Los Gatos.
I then moved to Oakland, to work at Ask Jeeves.
I now work for my own company at Ten By Ten Incorporated.
