My facial hair has been a part of who I am for years. Many of you cannot remember me without it. Most of you have been itching to see it go for a good while. The time has come where I must give it up. Why, you ask? For the good of the marching band.
Yes sir, it's the "Shave Mike Stein for the HHS Marching Band Fundraiser".
Mission Statement: I, Mike Stein, am consigning to have my precious facial hair shaven for my senior year in band for the purposes of: establishing a new identity for my senior year, allowing one lucky person to live the dream of finally shaving it, and mainly to see how much money my facial hair can earn for the organization.
Tickets will be on sale during all August rehersals for $1 each to any marching band member or affiliate. On the first night of Band Camp, the winning ticket will be drawn and the lucky winner will get to shave my facial hair off in front of everybody. The winner may also choose to keep the fallen goatee afterwards (estimated EBay auction value $3,500) You all want to see it gone, so why not support your band to earn a chance to partake in the magic? Gasp in wonderment as you all learn what my chin actually looks like! Seize your chance to be a part of HHS band history! May the force be with you!
