Character's Gimmick: Woodall is a classic old-school heel. He is technically proficient and can brawl with the best of 'em, but he prefers to cut corners and cheat to win, using all the old-school heel tactics of yore (feet on the ropes during a pin attempt, calling timeout in the corner, taking a breather outside when the going gets tough, eye gouges, low blows, etc...).
Character's History (Be descriptive): Doyle James Woodall was born in the bathroom of a Waffle House in El Paso, Texas, and it's all gone downhill since then. Doyle's family moved to Las Cruces, New Mexico when he was 5 years old, and for the next 20 years, Doyle spent the majority of his time touring the various correctional facilities of the southwest United States. From time to time, he'd find one that he liked and he'd stay awhile, usually 3-5 years. Then, during one of his infrequent journeys from his natural habitat, he happened to run in to a long-lost 2nd cousin, "Rowdy" Ron Richards, a reknown professional wrestler. After observing Doyle in his element (a bar-fight), Richards agreed to fund Doyle's education at the world-famous wrestling academy run by "Big Daddy" Dan Williams in Austin, Texas. Woodall's love of brutality and veteran's ring savvy soon made him Williams' star pupil, and upon graduation, Woodall joined Williams "Outlaw Championship Wrestling", quickly rising through the ranks to capture the Lone Star Heavyweight Championship, the top strap in the promotion. Woodall held the strap for an unprecedented 2 years, before losing the belt and taking some time off to heal some nagging injuries. Upon his return to the ring, Woodall joined the up and coming Appalachian Valley Wrestling and immediately began a feud with Shawn "Scorpion" Viper, a feud the Dirty One won handily. After a short feud with Ethan Love, Woodall set his sights on Leevon Parks and the Appalachian Championship, jumping Parks immediately after the match in which he regains the title from Sean Willey. Despite the AVW Commissioner's statements to the contrary, Woodall considered himself the #1 contender to the belt and demanded that Parks put it on the line. Against the commissioner's wishes, Parks declared himself a fighting champion and put the belt on the line in a match with Woodall, a match that Woodall won after throwing a fireball into Parks' face. Woodall has tasted success, and is anxious to continue his winning ways. He will no doubt do anything and everything to make his mark on GIW.
