Age: Early 30's

wrestled in a small local Liberty federation and actually had a hand in
running it, but... oh, right, E-Fed History...]

Entrance Music: "Classical Gas" by Chet Atkins
Ring Attire: A dark brown wrestling singlet that has a blue stripe
down the
sides of both legs. A dark red t-shirt that just fits over his torso. Has a
pair of grey sweatbands over his forearms. Wears black wrestle boots.
That's... about it.
Appearance: Heavy-set man with a prominent gut. Has a little
definition in
his body, but there's a good bit of fat on him all around [especially that
double spare tire of a stomach]. However, his "powerhouse" are his
fairly
large forearms [i.e. Mark McGwire-esque].
Has a full black beard and mustache, with the mustache overlapping the beard
a bit. Has stringy black hair that comes to the middle of the neck. He's not
a slob, mind you - his beard, mustache, and hair are always kept clean, cut,
and combed. Usually also wears a smile to the ring as well.
Entrance:
["Classical Gas" by Chet Atkins plays as City Jack lifts the curtain
out of
the way and strides on through the entrance. At the top of the aisle, he
raises his arms and points on up as the crowd gives a good pop. Jack then
moves his way down the path, shaking the hands of whomever he can reach to
in time as he passes, nodding and smiling to them all. City Jack finally
makes his way to the steps and starts walking up them, giving a little
shoulder shake with each step. Once in the ring, he points to the crowd and
and gives a big smile & nod as he waits for his opponent.]

Three Strengths:
1. He's huge, yes, but he's strong. He's got his well-developed forearms
[cheesy name for them later, of course... maybe Meat Grinders] and thus he
can lift much weight and hit a something really wicked with his hands.
2. He's a smart guy. Not a mensa genius or anything, but he's pretty quick.
He's not some dumb, fat hick.
3. Yes, he's a tough guy. He's not going to take Gremlin-type punishment and
still be ticking cause he's not in really great shape like him, but he can
take a fair share.
4. When he gets on a roll in a garbage type match, he can really pile up the
damage. He sort of gets in a zone.
Three Weaknesses:
1. He's slow moving around the ring [geez, I wonder why?].
2. Sometimes likes to let the "little guys" get their hits on him
starting a
match while he stands and takes the abuse to show he's tough. It's not
really smart since he should take the first attack, but... Well, he just
enjoys seeing them try to chop him down. Thing is? He's not that hard to
take down, big or otherwise.
3. As can be seen from his moves list, his ability isn't all that realized.
And considering he's pretty much past the learning stage of his career, he
probably won't be learning any exploding type moves. His girth has
something... a big something to do with this.
4. He gets very sensitive about his Southern upbringing. Not that anything
happened, he just is very wary of being classified as a fat, dumb hick. It's
a thing that can get him fired up, but more often than not, something that
can get him goaded into a situation he shouldn't be in.
5. A little too trusting of people as he gives most people the benefit of
the doubt two or three times before making a judgment. So, yeah, he can get
burned quite often.
6. He's a fan lover, so what offends the fans offends him and thus he can
get himself into more trouble by caring about what the fans want rather than
what he himself wants.
History:
Background on your wrestler and manager (the one you made up that can
include e-feds or feds you've made up to go with his wrestling history):
City Jack was raised on a small farm about twenty-some miles out of Liberty.
No real big things in his childhood - pretty normal stuff. At 17, he dropped
out of high school cause he knew he didn't have a future in the educational
system and believed that any future he had, he could make it on his own. He
learned all he needed to learn out of schools, so he figured his new
teachings would come out of living in the 'real world'.
About a year later - after mostly just helping around the farm - he figured
it was time to do something, so he went to the big city, Liberty, to make
his life in what he always thought would be an exciting experience. When he
got there and settled in, he did all sort of oddjobs and never really
complained about it much - just being in a place where there was some hustle
& bustle to it was good enough for him. Sweeper, construction, garbage
collection, etc.
The only thing he had trouble with during this time was that he tried to
always shake the country bumpkin image, usually by repressing his accent as
hard as he could and trying to lay off the hometown phrases. However, he
sometimes slipped up, usually when he was just having too much fun at his
job and just not thinking.
One oddjob he had during his first years that actually kept was as a hand at
a small independent wrestling promotion, Liberty Big Wrestling. He setup the
rings, made sure chairs were stacked, took tickets, and cleaned up for not
all that much in return as it was more of a sidejob. LBW, though, grew and
after two years and changed its name to Louisville Big Wrestling, prompting
the move [of course]. With the move, City Jack moved as well with the
company as he liked the work even if it didn't pay much at all.
The move from Liberty to Louisville was a real shock for City Jack, which is
how he earned the name after gawking and being so stunned at some low-level
city through a tour of the place with some of the other LBW workers.
One night, a scheduled big name cancelled on the show's card and they needed
a guy who could work a couple minutes to fill in. His peers nudged on City
Jack, who wasn't in shape or had the moves or anything like that down. The
promoter said why not and let him in, even though Jack still wasn't hundred
percent on the idea. By no means was he great in his first match, but he
showed something that the crowd like as they turned from a bitter gang not
seeing their schedule major star to a cheering crowd for the hammed-up
actions of City Jack in the ring.
The promoter kept him on the roster, filling in here and there, opening up
the card some nights to liven up the crowd in always fun matches. One of the
other talents nicknamed him the "Fat Flourish" by the way he overdid
almost
everything in the ring.
City Jack actually moved up on the card, going all the way to a mid-level
wrestler as he actually added some moves and toned down his style just
enough to make him 'more credible' or a threat to others. But given the
opportunity, he'd give what the crowd wanted - not a technical or aerial
fest, just a good ol' bout with fun.
During his time in the LBW, he made his enemies in Sly Herman, "Fine
Diner"
Earl Husker, and the arrogant Grant Stone. But he made plenty of friends,
including two of his best friends even away from the ring with "Gravy
Skin"
Ross & Tin Can Rust, often tagging with them.
After four years with the LBW, it closed as does most indy promotions
because of poor fund management. So City Jack has been on the look out for a
place to continue on with his oddjob of a wrestler.
He found a home finally at the cult-followed LWC and actually saw some
support, even away from his Kentucky roots. Down in South Laredo, even as
some big shots fight around him, CJ was able to grab gold in the way of Rio
Grande Championship Title. However, due to some problems, LWC had to close
its doors, leaving Jack to find a new home yet again.
