March1-Dang MaRch already- barely had 8 hrs of sleep cus we were at christians place until like 430 in the morning... wow 9th week already. i dont even remember what happened this whole week cus it went by once again super fast. two papers this week to doO now then 10th week next week and finals week. Dang and this whole quarter i've only been home once. This is my first time taking 16 units and it's pretty much a lot of work. Today is relax day friday and study study weekend. Maybe i'll goto the the up all night event tomorrow for a study break.
March2- Up all night- up all night at the student center sucked this year, there wasnt that many people like last year and people making the music videos sucked. The only cool parts was the shock value shows, they did fire eatting, glass walking, laying on nailed beds, sword swallowing stuff. And they closed the sumo wrestlin line cus some chick got hurt, THe 2nd time we went in that inflatable room, we saw caution tape and a girl getting her blood pressure taken by the paramedics.
March3-paper- i wrote my paper for soc 3 today, due tuesday but i didnt want to do it tomorrow because i wanna finish my other 5 page paper which is due friday because the big west tourney is this week so i want to get the papers and stuff over with already. 9th week already how whack is that and i havent snapped yet on the no meat fasting for lent. but thats not a bad thing, its a good thing -=T. rj brought two computer towers back cus he bought a dope new case from fryes and he transfered the stuff from his old computer to his other motherboard. Malcolm in the Middle was a funny episode hah the three run away and take the dads credit card while francis visits home saying hes married haha. Nonsense sitcom but yet so funny hah. I ate that cheese quesadilla pizza for brunch, pretty good stuff.
March4-9thweek- geez... did this quarter go by fast or what. paper due friday, midterm next week thursday, then three finals the following week. Let's see how fast that will go by... i woke up hella early just to enroll in classes ... 8am-5pm classes tu -th schedule.geez that means all my midterms can fall on the same day.
March5-bwt- i bought my tix for big west tourny for 20 bucks. its gonna be well worth it if we win all three rounds but we have to face long beach first which will be hella tough. i didnt goto the computer lab like normal when i goto campus early, i spent 30 min at zot zone to kill time just by playing st fighter vs xmen before i ate my ice cream. tonights class was boring as usual, just gets more boring by the lecture, so me and khai just left after the break cus we couldnt take it no more, i took like a 40min nap while he was taking notes, thats how bad that guy is, i dont take naps that long if i ever close my eyes in class, so do not take davld smlth for any sociology classes hah u've been warned!i!
March6-slowdaytoday- why is today so slow, i took a nap after class and i didnt even know that it was raining until later in the night... dain i should leave the blinds open more often heh. or better yet i should go out more often. wow quarter is almost over and it does not seem like i have been through 2 quizzes, 4 midterms, and 4 papers, and i actually read 3 books, crazy man...i went to scampus hella early to get josh his bwt tix and also so i could chill in the computer lab. That helped a lot when doing my paper cus when i went home all i did was just proof read and type up the title page and bibliography, now i can chill for now this week.
March7-uci wins-against long beach... damn parking 8 bucks, geez whats wrong with the anaheim convention center, those suckers.. welps gonna be there tomorrow and take more pics... well josh will take them since my camera is kinda non functional right now...paper due tomorrow but i finished it like yesterday, i started on monday, revised a little tuesday, revised a little more yesterday, now its time to chillax and wait for tomorrows game, i'll post some pics up later once i get the pics from josh when he loads it to his comp.
march8-irvine upset- we lost semi-finals against ucsb, i guess irvine didnt have there game on tonight. well ash won a 225 dollar watch for playing the bball relay, he dunked it hah. we went to mcdonalds after the game and when we got out there were these mexicans driving around the parking lot and one of the passenger chicks flashed us. then we went to jina's party but we weren't allowed inside the room cus we were under 21 , so i guess thats why a lot of peeps were outside cus im assuming they were all underage hah... doh she told me they only carded for people 21 so they can give them bracelets for the bar, they let 18 and over in... ah well i didnt feel in the mood to party after the upset at anaheim.
March9-blah-santa barbara won the bwt, should of been us, ah well. man ash went to the game in a utah state shirt and usu blow up finger and wisco went upto him saying u should be cheerin on sb. yea right with that gaucho boy mascot and there stupid chants, i 'd vote for usu too. i went to shoot hoops today and played like around the world and free throw contests with this little kid who was bored, he was very talkative and wanted to win making up all these stupid rules, but never won a game haha. ian brought a tray of food back after his work from mothers market, its ok but i got tired of it already, tofu burritos and nachos heh... i hope both usu and uci get an nit invite so we can have our 3rd match up there since we didnt have it at the bwt.
March10-bbq at dons-only productive thing i did today was goto don, ash, and donald's place. watched futurama,simpsons,malcolm in the middle, the fast and the furious, and pulp fiction.
March11-i should check- ever since i installed xp i havent checked if the dvd player or if my burner or scanner functions correctly. So far media player sucks cus i cant really doO full screen cus i guess it takes up a lot of memory to run and it lags every time i put a movie on full screen. I went to the ARC today at night. i thought my wrist was gonna get worse after benching but i guess on the benching position i don't feel the pain. I also DLed like 120 megs of pics from josh's digi cam from the game and from the up all night event so i'll be putting up pics when i have the time or if i ever feel in the mood to something up. I'll put this up, its a pic of the tix on my wall of the stubs of all the home games plus the other men's bball games i attended at other places. I also put up the all session tickets from the big west tourny.
March 12- tuesday-tuesday night lecture sucked as usual so we just left after the break. i took like another 40 min nap in there because he didn't show another film but just lectured. I cannot handle his 3 hr lectures cus he's the worst teacher i've had here at uci so far when it comes to lecturing. So i just got back and watched wwf wrestlmania's greatest hits. the gate broke. i tried to hold it when it was closing then it got off track and the chain broke. last time it just pushed me back ah well heh.
March13-wed-nothing happened today well that i remember. except for my 4 hr nap from 5-9 i guess it was the weather that made me sleepy. so lazy i just wore shorts and slippers to class.
March14-thurs-uci loses ucsb loses oh well. great season ... well my burner doesnt work, tried burning some stuff to cd and it doesnt play correctly. damn xp im definately going back to windows me during the spring break... only thing that it works good is the no blue screen errors and it loads a little faster but the rest of the system doesnt function that great, ah well. i did that police sketch site thing people say it looks like me ... only took me 2 min to sketch it heh this is the site http://flashface.flashmaster.ru/ this is what i drew http://www.geocities.com/celly909/hah.jpg.
March15-no more lectures no straight up finals- status, i have two finals on tuesday where one is due tuesday becauses its a take home. then i have that night class tuesday night and friday at 130. then one week off for spring break then 8in the morning classes . geez i never had an 8 in the morning class ever since physics last year. i guess i have to sleep during the day now or just sleep real early. hard to do that now when my body clock i've sleeping 3-4 in the morning, things will change once i go back to sd cus i tend to sleep earlier when im at home. i just talked to my sister the other day and she said she renovating her room and she givin me her bed cus they bought a new bed for her room. she painted her room and put wood floors. she says it looks totally different. i guess i have to wait and see when i get back, i just hope not that much stuff is there to fix when i get back cus im bringing this computer when i go back. i gotta practice shootin hoops, havent really shot that much around in awhile. Well i've been trying during the weekends but i think this weekend i will be studying . gotta study sometime heh.
March16-movies-there were a lot of movies on tv today, rookie of the year, air bud, naked gun 2 1/2 , and i watched not a teen movie today. All comedy and all funny movies. i went to ralphs and i also went to shell to fill up my car. first time i put gas on that car since the quarter started hah. i also went to shoot hoops and then rest of the day did nothin but chat online... now its time to study off for finals...
March17-quarter- not school quarter, i finally got the missing quarter i didnt have in my collection in state quarters heh. now i have all 15 from 99-01 im still missing Tennessee because that just barely came out in january but ah well
Ok that was random haha. ok back to studying. status- 3 finals , 1 take home due tuesday, 1 inclass on tuesday, one inclass friday. Am i ready? yes once i study, back to studying.
March18-study-studying for finals week... enough said. 2 tomorrow 1 friday
March 19-Relax-not! 3 finals down 1 to go. did some last minute collaborating then on my 7 oclock final for soc 3, the class with the most boring teacher ever, wow his final was hella lengthy , one more then vacation whoo...
March20- Studied a bit here at the apt, then i went to the bookstore to sell the books from the classes that im done with. Unfortunately they only accepted one out of three books. can u believe that the book they accepted was my 115 dollar book and they only gave me back 10 bucks... i guess cus it was a paper back book. damn bookstore! i just used that money to buy some food then went to the student center to study first half my notes. I went back to the apt to type out the 2nd half of notes on the computer while watching tv and chattin. It helped. cus u have to look at it at ur notebook, then type it, then look at it in the computer screen. I think its more effective and made me learn while chillin. 3 finals 1 to gO...
March 21- friends was a repeat so i ended up studying more for my last final. i slept like after the freestyle session on the open session show that josh hosts then i woke up like 5 or 6 hrs later to study a little bit more before the final at 130
March 22-DONE WITH FINALS! i woke up early and time went really slow before my final. i studied on campus and ate at phoenix grill. theyre food isn't as pricey as under the cavern and anteatery. When i read over the questions right before the final i was like wow, this is a pretty lengthy test. This is the first time i went home since martin luther king weekend in january and my sisters room is hella different, it's like living in a ikea room. And my bed in my room is low and different because the folding bed is supposedly breaking or falling through. I was going to write on this earlier and fix my computer but i ended up going to a viewing with my family. i will write later since i have to wake up early tomorrow for the funeral.
March23- shot hoops, played some ps2, watched how high, sleep..
march24-went to grandma's and uncle was painting, there place is like ikea now heh... gonna be gone for palm springs and vegas till friday so i wont be bloggin till then. i'll keep a log for each day and just type it out on friday... aight spring break whoo hoo.
March 25-day one from sd to palm springs. checked into palm springs at the palm canyon resort. I got my own room while my cusins slept in the living room cus the couch turns into a bed. its so convient stayin in a resort than in a hotel room cus theres the luxury of kitchen and dining table. The tub in the bathroom was fully loaded too with jet streams and everything it was hella wide. the sucky thing was that one of the doors in the bathroom didnt have a lock on it for some reason so we ended up having a system of putting the do not disturb sign while usin the bathroom. After we checked in, we pretty much settled in and played a couple of games of table tennis by the poolside. I went swimming with my little cusin jed and justin. jed was right in front of me and i was watching justin slide down the slide and it didnt occur to me jed was drifted away and was jumping up and down cus he went to the deep side where his head was barely in the water. After swimmin i went to the sports court to shoot around until wrestling. but before wrestling we went out to eat at sizzler. man that was pricy.
March26- day two full day at palm springs. i shot hoops at the sports court in the morning then we went to downtown palm springs while my uncle went out to play tennis. we ended up walking into a couple of stores and got some chinese food to go. then i went back to sports court to shoot more hoops, i think i was shooting around and picked up a couple of games for like 3 or 4 hrs. i was able to hook up the ps2 in the livin room cus my room was supposed to have a tv but they didnt have one. since we were smart enough to not eat out cus of the price we spent at sizzler, we ended up eatting at the room. auntie cooked like poppers, fish fillets, cheese pizza and stuffafter jed and justin finished playing tony hawk 3 , we watched zoolander dvd on the ps2 while eattin cheese pizza.
March27-day three from palm springs to vegas. we checked out early and the trip to vegas was delayed like a couple of hrs cus it ended up that my aunties car , the water pump busted. Good thing my uncle was a mechanic, he all busted out with his what he calls his 'veteran suit' because he did a lot of work with that repair suit. took about 2 hrs to fix it so i ended up walkin across the street cus there happened to be a barber shop. i got my usual fade the sides and back with one clips. Geez cathedral city , a neighboring city to palm springs is so dead, and i guess the barber shop has business or something because any type of haircut there was 11 bucks. I ended up spendin 13 bucks on the haircut though cus i tipped the barber 2 bucks. went to chevron to fill up the tank before vegas and i got some quiznos and clam chowder. We stopped at stateline to fill up gas again and ate at mcdonalds. when we exited the place for our stay at CANCUN resort in vegas, car was acting funny but this time it wasnt the water pump, everytime the car stopped the engine stopped as well. this time we got a one room at this resort but i think it was nicer cus the furniture and settin was roomy; i stayed in the living room but their was a sliding door that i used to close up the gap inbetween the living room and the dining room. i swear this whole trip , its all fast food and stuff... oh well happy bday sister1 hah, melissa is 24 today ... dang were gettin old. we borrowed rushmore but i was the only one who ended up watching it cus the others fell asleep early.
march 28-day four full day at vegas-woke up early and we went to the belz factory outlet mall . it was pretty convient cus it was just up the street from where the cancun resort is at. i got lucky at the vans store. justin bought 50 dollar shoes there, and hes been limpin the whole trip, like a robot hah. newayz at vans i bought this messenger bag for 14.99, it rang up to be 32 bucks but the guy said i'll just give to u at that price. That was the only bag with that price tag on it heh. the rest of it were all marked 49.99 with a x over it and 29.99 for the sale price. lucky me. i was tempted to buy nunchucks at one of the booths but i was like ah well, maybe at comicon this summer hah. after the outlet we went to paris and circus circus, my uncle was having a cow cus we wanted to goto ceasars palace which was literally across the street from paris; however he was trippin cus he thought we meant circus circus which was all the way down at the strip; so he was having a cow sayin we should just drive and we ended up at circus circus instead. stupid midway games, just like the carnival , trying to rip people off, but at least the games are cheaper. after circus circus we were looking for a filipino joint cus my auntie was cravin rice. we went to the first one that we wrote down and it was closed down. we were looking for the 2nd one but we didnt find it also but there was a filipino joint on that building of the street so i guess they just changed the name to it. cheese pizza stuff crusted for me. hah i forgot to take out the cardboard under the pizza and i was cooking the pizza with the cardboard under it, ended up to stick on the cardboard a little hah... ah well... watched friends, then some smackdown, then played ping pong fooseball and pool table at the game room they had there at the resort.
march 29- from vegas to sd- wow this trip ended fast, took all of spring break. we checked out early and went to the outlet for a couple of minutes at stateline, ate pizza once again haha... this trip was like all driving mon wed and friday, full day in palm springs tuesday, full day in vegas, trip all in all was ok since i actually did something instead of stay home and sleep and go online. i did sleep a lot though mostly on the driving parts though haha. i just came back from watching e.t. with my cusins and some of my sisters friends. i totally forgot some parts in the movie and i cant believe drew barrymore was so small in that movie haha. grades are up on tele but signal be busy so far so i guess i'll try it soon. i just checked out my grades a a- b b 3.425 booya
march 30- went to mirabel's house cus it was their grandpa's bday. i know im not suppose to eat meat til today but ah well nothing else to eat there so i just started eattin today. when i got back i shot some hoops in the backyard while melissa and my two parents went to the hunks concert hah , 7th row and my sister came back home with two autographed vcds and got a shirt they threw from the stage, it says i love hunks like those i love new york shirts hah. i went to my grandma's house while my other sister was drying the clothes and the laundrymat with my auntie. i gave her money to buy me carne asada fries and she ended up giving me 3 times much as i gave her cus melissa gave me some money earlier that day to michele.
March31- went to church then went to easter picnic thang for my mom's association. took a nap and was caught in traffic, took us 3 hrs to get here to irvine. I have more space in my room now because rj took out his chair and his desk so one side of the room is kinda empty well except for the cable modem stuff that is on the floor. theres a damn cricket in my closet and its noisy i cant find it... now i hear two unless its in the vent and its echoing hah.
