July1- class, burger king, jap hw...less a page cus the first page was attached to the back of one of the pages to one of the homeworks we previously turned in and he assigned the same reading ahead assignment. some of the listening parts in the hw is crazy, they talk hella fast ha. basically relaxed for once from jap hw cus most is review...
July2- finally sensei didnt assign hw but just a read ahead, 3.95 katsu at the curry house on culver and walnut, usual price is 8.95 i also ordered a fruit punch... it was fruit all right i was expecting like hawaiian punch but it tasted like orange pineapple... so i went there with two other AEFers, went to ikea, toys r us, dairy queen, tower records and community center to watch american idol....
July3-finally first time during summer school sensei let us out early, he usually goes a little bit over, but i aint complainin no class tomorrow so day of chillaxin... test friday, then sd weekend...watched mr deeds today-some stuff corny but it was an ok movie... then slept until who knows when, watched american idol
July4- Happy 4th of JULY even though i didnt celebrate it hah. dad's side of family went to the beach in sd while im here stuck in irvine studying for a japanese test. that sucks, we get to goto school on a friday, should have been a long weekend.
July5-test was aight but damn he sucks, 18 pages of hw plus a written assignment ha. he let us out early againlike an hr early so i left irvine around 11, took me twice the time to get home thouse 2hrs and 20 min cus of on and off traffic at carlsbad and then delmar... before i went home i went to the car wash cus the car was all dirty...
July6-slept on and off till 3pm ha... went to a bbq with my sister and played with some friendly dogs that had the personality of people. then after that went to target and then went to watch the last showing of the bourne identity at palm promenade.
july7-went to my dads mason hall to eat breakfast with the little cousins...then went to irvine ,target, ralphs, and back to apt to sleep. just woke up now which is around 730pm and gonna still do jap hw! ha
july8-its tuesdsay right now but i couldnt write at all about supposedly today... cus sensei turned whacko and assigned 21 pages of hw along with the composition paper we had to write that was assigned friday, good thing i worked on that on saturday and sunday cus i seriously spent 430-11 just doing hw...aef is down, i wonder what happened, the last time it didnt work was because the server got haŠ|ked, dunno bout now.
july9-study for jap. no hw but a lot of read ahead that was assigned that i have to doo.
july 10-i slept after class and dang i had a good nap but it drained my energy for the rest of the day... test tomorrow, still studying...
july11-day of confusion- first, this morning was supposedly test for jap, but now its postponed until tomorrow because sensei forgot to hand back the missing hw that we needed to study for. man.. the only day i dont check my uci mail was the most important, i could of just slept all day last night ha then after class i went to fatburger, i ordered a fatburger with cheese plus egg cus it tastes like a breakfast sandwich and i also ordered onion rings. u know how u take out orders go by your name, i guess 3 orders before mine the guys name was mike too... sheesh next time i'll say my name is jefferson or something. so i ended up with a burger and skinny fries cus i didnt check my order until i got back.
july12-class,home,sleep
july13-happy 50th bday dad. went to soak city for filipino day and cus my dad wanted to bring the little cusins to go swimming. rested at home afterwords cus sister1 had a little incident...then went to bbq/gathering at aunties house
july 14-went to mothers family picnic, then back to irvine, back to jap studying
july15-finally sensei realized that this time he gave way too much hw, no hw today but study for kanji and i still have to brush up on some of the list of adj we've been learning.went to best buy and bought some dvds, then bought like a box of water. i also went to summer sessions to change grade option. i dont know if its the weather or lack of sleep, but ive got knocked out today when i got back to the apt...aef is back up after the almost a week shutdown. the server in florida crashed cus a pipe bursted and flooded the server room. then later on it flooded the backup server room, so its back up but not to its entirety.
july 16-class, went to leasing office , got knocked out, watched some tv, then studied again
july17-study study study for test
july18-damn that test... went to commons for dinner. first time eatting there, its a pretty big dining hall. i guess they renovated or something ... good food, well dorm food taste good when u dont eat it all the time, i guess this only time made it good haha... ok back to studyin
july19-visited grandma at hospital but she was sleeping when me and sis got there. went to coronado to reserve a bonfire pit but all the pits were takin already at 3...so we ended up having a picnic at glorietta...fun turnout of all cousins and some of the aunties and uncles
july 20-saturday- went to hospital then to alex's 7th bday shindig.
july21-went to church, then ate at super sergios then visited grandma at hospital and then drove back to irvine. drove the green car this time cus the back seats have more space to put stuff since im moving out of here on friday, so i can clean up the place for the remainder of the lease. now off to do hw
july22-fatburger is so overpriced, even with coupon its the same price as ordering two value meals. but good thing my card is stamped so that means i get a free one next time i go there haha...
july23- dengit, no wonder sensei gave us like the day off tomorrow cus we have so much stuff due thursday. we have a test on thursday, a composittion paper due thursday and a rought draft of our skits that we have to perform on next friday... sigh... at least im done with composition
july24-i thought 30 sec to fame wasnt that great as like last week but i still taped it...the day off and i didnt do use up my class time to study but to oversleep hah... but i did finish my paper the day before so i only had to study for the test since my parnters for the skit wrote their half of the script...
july 25- tiring day ever... test and composition tired me out and then went all over irvine helpin friend look for a desk. after class started out at eattin at commons, then went to lowes to see if i can duplicate a key, then to target to get a plastic container cus its reusable unlike boxes that can break down. then went to office max. we were gonna buy the desk cus sale ends saturday but box didnt fit in car. too cool down , we went to jamba juice by my place cus we had coupons from the student saver book. we also looked for my friends place with a truck so she could help me. after that ended up driving around and ended up at spectrum, walked around in the shops and made a wrong turn and then ended up in lake forrest. so we ate at rubios at the food festival court . then driving back we turned on a street , went all the way down and ended up in tustin again haha.. oh well what an action packed day ha
july26-i dont see what the point in going to jap anymore cus only thing left is skits and the final and this week is supposedly the last week of instruction, but sensei is makin is going monday as a postponement from wed day off, then tuesday is skits, and wed day off but i have to move out of siena completely. then thurs is final and then i'll be in sd after that. after class i went to jackies so she can help me move stuff with her truck. unfortunately i was there from 12-1245 knockin on her door but she was deep asleep so i just left and called my jap friends who helped me cus they live by me now and they had a minivan. had so many trips back and forth to my apts moving in and out and in again so yea tiring day as well..
july27-woke up early to meet up with parents at in and out and then they helped me clean out the apt. we cleaned the bathroom kitchen living room and my room which is 3/4 of the apt... all is left is for ian to clean up his room and bathroom and remove all his stuff and get the keys from everyone and its over at siena..i figured since i get the sec dep back, im gonna charge ed and rj for the cleanin fee if they charge us since me and ian cleaned the place out. then i'll deduct all of us for painting and carpet. now im pretty much settled in in stanford...
july28-woke up around 1130 and watched some dvds then went out and about, went back watch more dvds and napped... studied for jap
july29-class. nap. first time i played basketball in awhile, im gonna try to go daily to regain my shot again. watched scary movie and some of zoolander today too.
july30- i thought we would be one of the last groups to do our skits but we were the 3rd ones up. it was aight though. i think everyone did a good job. day off tomorrow cus sensei givin us the day off to study for the final.ed and rj came over... ed spent the night and we went to cv to shoot hoops...
july31- did a lot of errands during the day before studyin for my final. went to siena to help ian move his stuff out and return the keys, watched rush hr 2 while studyin. went over my kanji notes and the chapters we learned then fell a sleep
