Why is this sign here? In the middle of *nowhere* in Patagonia's deep south? Miles from the nearest road-sign?! Let alone the nearest vandal...

Only one possible reason: as a photo-opportunity for the likes of me. A real-life version of a Punch cartoon that was my Dad's favourite 25 years ago - weird enough that I remembered that, let alone that I came across this sign. I could not believe my eyes.
