About

Presumably you're here because you're either looking for my CV for some reason (which has now disappeared from this site) or interested in whatever happened to me (because I knew you at school/University). Well, in either case I'm flattered. If it's the former reason, please get in contact. If it's the latter reason, then that is what this page is for. I'm interested in what other people are doing and often visit personal Web sites, so I thought I'd do the same thing here. Read on, and you might also learn something that's useful to you. That's why this page is called "About", rather than "About me" - it might also be about you, as well.

Since first writing this page, it has become so big that it's best expressed as a section. In fact, it's turning into a blog, to capitalise on the buzz-idea of the time (although the continuous bits are in pages rather than dates). There are a number of pages to browse through, so you can either click "next" or browse to the page where you left off, at the bottom of each page, or use the mini-contents links below.

A lot has happened since I last updated this site, which was mid 2004. In fact, I'd forgotten about it until I found a generous link on it from the Keele University Computer Society Web site. You'll find links there to others in the Computer Society, both past and present. Anyway, since then, life got a little turbulent event-wise. I got an M.Phil in Software Engineering from Keele, moved up to Halifax in Yorkshire for a bit, then moved down to the Newport area in South Wales. That's the massive generalisation, anyway.
