August 2001 pix from Cornwall
In 1735 Daniel Gumb carved his name at the entrance to his dwelling near the foot of the Cheesering. He lived here as a hermit and self taught mathematician. He had a wife and many children. The Hurlers also stand nearby on this now desolate part of Bodmin Moor.
Some pix will enlarge if you click on them, some I've shrunk for quicker download time. Hope it works. As you can see we lots of fun in the garden.
