Areas of Expertise
Product Qualifications, Subcon Certifications & Project Planning and Management
- Established close coordination with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient project management and
execution, which optimized profit margin by 2% while reducing manufacturing production cost.
- Expertly utilized product test monitors, as well as quality and reliability indicators that guaranteed
optimum health of new qualified product; thus increasing productivity, manufacturability, and sustainability by 5%.
- Seamlessly minimized risk of the qualification, while expediting time for circuits redesign to be pulled
in through constant follow-up and coordination with ESD designer on status of ESD-corrected circuit.
- Spearheaded the execution of reliability stresses, electrical tests, and failure analysis, which led to
successful assembly certification for Intels uBGA package subcontractor.
- Guaranteed excellent quality of subcon, which significantly contributed in increasing manufacturing capacity
by 10% for the Planning Department; thus, maximizing resources for parts.
- Achieved significant cost savings through expert management of the engineering budget, vendor proposals and
contracts, as well as incoming parts and materials inspections.
Risk Assessment, Control and Disposition, Continuous Process Improvement & Problem Identification and Resolution
- Served as co-chairman of various boards and committees, which included:Fab Material Review Board (MRB),
collaborating with US Fab Quality and Reliability counterparts to identify discrepant materials from fab, and Local Disposition
Review Board (DRB), conducting test lots that failed Post Burn-In (PBI) yields.
- Instituted a competent task force that coordinated with other teams in determining the root cause and implementing
corrective actions to the stuck erase issue; consequently preventing customer shutdown.
- Rendered hands-on supervision to a DPM workgroup accountable for resolving various quality issues, thereby reducing
DPM of product to goal while improving product health indicators.
- Efficiently minimized operator assist, from 10 to 7 per hour through expert implementation of a sensor redesign.
Data Analysis and Interpretation, and Customer Service
- Documented several qualification/certification reports, failure analysis reports for internal and external customers
and internal audit findings.
- Assumed full accountability in reviewing and verifying technology qualifications for new fab technology processes,
from backend to test site; thereby ensuring uninterrupted and on-time execution of reliability stresses.
- Successfully cultivated and maintained constant communications with the AMI USA counterpart as well as delivered
timely updates and accurate data and failure analysis; thereby ensuring long-term working relationship and obtaining their
confidence.
- Addressed customer needs timely and with a smile.
