    Summer 2006

While visiting Nonno & Nonna in Belgium, we spent A few days in western France and stayed at the Chteau de la Motte, a "bed & breakfast" near Chtellerault. We made a very brief stop in Paris on the way there and an afternoon at the Chteau de Chenonceau.

The photos with no captions are of the Chteau de la Motte

    Among the images:
Various pics of the chteau's exterior
    Guestroom - Isabeau de Poitiers
    Sunrise over the terrace
    Marie-Andre's chimney
    L'escalier
    Roses along the entrance
    The dining room
and a few more of the exterior, and one more of our room, along the bottom

    This spot is a "must-stay"!
