Balfour Community Centre was openened on the 24th May 2003
the building was donated by Mark Dransfield as part of the
Holderness Road development.
Balfour Community Association is a registered charity. we have no paid members of staff and the Centre is run completely by volunteers, mostly from the local community. we are constantly looking for ways to improve our services and become a more useful resource to our community.
We are a popular UK Online Centre with computer and internet facilities available to any member of the community during opening times.
The centre is a venue for various Adult Education Courses,Councillors Surgeries and Ward Forums.
we have a thriving bingo sessions on a monday and thursday evening and we regularly hold parties for our bingo group.
We have a very keen group of young people who organise five a side football matches and table tennis tournaments.
The Centre has a tea bar and offers refreshments to Centre users
and have good public transport links and disabled access.
The hall and Conference room are available for hire to the public.
