Guardian Angel 21. Memory Lane The track selection looks amazing. I don't know which versions are here but that will make the first listen all the more fun. I am surprised that two of Billy's single A sides are missing: "It Doesn't Take Much/Give It Up" and "I Won't Be The One", but there is plenty of other great stuff here including some of the best album cuts that could've been singles i. e. "Sometimes", "Kew", "Stay Awhile", "This Song Is Green", "Dying Star", "That Other Guy"; I could go on. With four songs from 'Still Entwined' included, you'd think the title would read "1967-2005", but nevermind. The absolute highlight has to be the inclusion of two previously unreleased tracks. "Forgive And Forget" is a song I know nothing about, but I'm always happy when an old track appears from Billy's archives. "This Boy's In Love Again" - Wow! Long John Baldry recorded and released a version of this in 1976. Here finally is Billy's own version of this great song! Cheers, Mike Griffiths |
