Once inside the club Jemma handed in her coat and made her way to one of the many bars, she queued up and got herself and her friend Kerry a drink before looking around the club for any potential boyfriends , Kerry was wearing a pair of Gucci mules were also new and Kerry was very possessive of her new footwear, Jemma had asked twice to try her new Gucci mules on but Kerry who had managed to loose a similar shoe in the very same club only weeks previous decided to keep her mules firmly on her feet.
The girls had already been drinking at Kerry?s before they got to the club and Jemma in particular was already becoming loud and a little silly, she continued to drink Vodka and diet cokes at an alarming rate whilst talking to two guys who had become interested in them, Jemma was getting jealous of her friends ability to get boyfriends and started telling the guys all about Kerry managing to loose a shoe two weeks ago, and failing to realise its importance until getting outside the club still wearing one shoe and then complaining of having a wet foot as it had been raining that night.
One of the guys suggested they go and dance on the stage which surrounded the d.j. booth, the girls eagerly accepted and somehow made they way up the stairs and on to the stage. Kerry was starting to become annoyed because Jemma continued to embarrass her in front of guys, Kerry was loosing count of the number of drinks Jemma had consumed and decided to get some revenge for all the nasty things she had said about her to the guys. Whilst continuing to dance Kerry positioned herself behind Jemma and managed to force Jemma to the front of the stage, then just when a partially good song came on and Jemma went wild Kerry kicked the heel of Jemma?s new shoe at the exact moment when Jemma had her foot slightly off the floor, Her shoe flew of her foot and fell about six feet onto hundreds of clubbers dancing on the floor below, incredibly Jemma didn?t seem to even notice and continued to dance lopsided.
Kerry, suddenly felt really guilty for her crime looked down at the clubbers below, but there were hundreds of them and no sign of Jemma?s shoe and to make things worse Jemma had now realised that she was missing a shoe, run off the stage loosing her remaining mule in her rush and began to cry.
