Melt butter with sugar; add vanilla, four, and nuts. Mix well. Press in bottom of 9x9 inch pan and bake at 375 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes. Remove from oven and cool. Beat filling ingredients until smooth and pour over cooled crust. Place pear wedges in rows on top of cream cheese filling. Sprinkle sugar and cinnamon over pears. Bake at 375 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes.
Note: Double crust and filling for 9x13 inch pan, but you may use 1 can of Bartlett pears.
