Cranberry Orange Dream
Prep: 25 min. Refrigerate: 4 hr. 15 min. Makes 16 servings.
Gelatin
Stir 1-1/2 cups boiling water into 1 package (8-serving size) or 2 packages (4-serving size each) Jell-o Brand Cranberry Flavor Gelatin in large bowl at least 2 minutes until completely dissolved. Stir in 1 can (16 oz) whole berry cranberry sauce until melted. Stir in 1-1/2 cups cold water. Refrigerate about 40 min to 1-1/4 hours or until slightly thickened (consistency of unbeaten egg whites). Gently stir in 1 can (11 or 15 oz) Dole Mandarin Oranges, drained.
Crust
Meanwhile stir together 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs, 1/4 cup sugar, and 1/2 cup (1 stick) melted butter or margarine in 13x9 inch dish. Press firmly onto bottom. Refrigerate until ready to fill.
White layer
Beat 1 package (8 oz) softened cream cheese and 1/4 cup sugar in large bowl with whisk until smooth. Gently stir in 1 tub (8 oz) Cool Whip Whipped Topping, thawed. Spread evenly over crust. Spoon gelatin mixture over cream cheese layer.
Refrigerate 3 hours or until firm. Garnish with additional whipped topping, if desired.
May want to add 1 Knox gelatin.
