• 1 package cream cheese (8 oz)
• 1 cup sugar
• 4 envelopes unflavored gelatin
• 2 cans (8 oz size) mandarin oranges, drained
• 1 can 7-Up
• Pam or mayonnaise

Prepare 9x13 pan by spraying with Pam or spreading mayonnaise. Arrange mandarin oranges evenly in pan. Place pan in refrigerator to cool.

Cream together cream cheese and sugar.

Dissolve gelatin in ¾ cup tap water and then stir in ¾ cup hot water.

Slowly add gelatin to cream cheese mixture and stir well so it won’t get lumpy. Add can of 7-Up to mixture.

Pour mixture into prepared pan and refrigerate.

Variation: Use 1 (1# 13 oz) can sliced peaches or 1 can fruit cocktail and 2 cans mandarin oranges, drained.
