I play the double bass and electric bass. All styles of music. Jazz is my specialty.
In my almost thirty years as a player I have done just about every imaginable sort of gig, live, in night clubs, casuals, concerts, TV shows and recordings.
From 1979 until 1999 I was a member of the house band for �Dick Clarks�s Good Ol� Rock & Roll Show�, backing up many legendary figures in American popular music including Chuck Berry, Bo Diddley, Del Shannon, Little Anthony and The Imperials, The Shirelles, Freddy Cannon, The Coasters, The Drifters, The Platters, Frankie Avalon, Darleen Love, Bobby Sheen and Ben E. King.
Since then, I have been performing internationally in 5 star hotels and nightclubs that feature jazz music. The list of outstanding talents whom I�ve been fortunate to play with includes pianist Bobby West and jazz singers Diane Witherspoon, LaVerne Butler, Donna Robbins, Sandra Kaye and Coco York.

March 2006 to October 2006, JZ's Jazz club Hangzhou, China. I served as house bassist/bandleader in a wonderful trio, which featured at different times the phenomenal Romanian pianists Lou Radu and the eminent Dr. Dwight Dickerson. Dwight's played with many heavy weights. Gene Ammons, Kenny Burell, even Anita O'Day, to name a few. We took a lot of pride in the fact that we brought live Jazz and played with heart and integrity to a new audience in China. Many of whom who's first time hearing jazz live was at JZ's Hangzhou. A terrific experience for me!
November 2006 until March 2007. I played Hong Kong's Mandarin Oriental Hotel with The Tony Payne Trio.
Starting May 2007! I was back at JZ's Club, Hangzhou, China. This time the swinging trio featured Carlos Viara on drums and Dale Alexander on piano. Dale has played for the best, including Prince and George Benson.
Real jazz from America. I now live and play regularly in Hong Kong and have established myself as one of the top players on the Hong Kong music scene.
