Second Gen. Stealth Box S-2
After looking at JL stealth box, I start designing my second gen. stealth box with inclined surface, flushed mounting and be able to put your original stock cover on top of my box. The final result is a better box than JL because my box can hold a 12" sub and you don't have to remove any carpet. These pix showing a 12" MB Quart Ref. series in my second gen. stealth box S-2. This box will fit in all C5's models.
The box can hold any sub with magnet diameter no bigger than 6.5" and mounting depth no deeper than 6". If you willing to remove your center removeable carpet, then it can hold up to 6.5" mounting depth and maybe a bigger magnet. The box is selling for 150$ with free black or tan carpet, custom hole for your sub, and plus actual shipping. Here are some 12" subs that I know will fit perfectly in my new S-2 box: MB Quart Ref. series, JL W3, W3V2, W6 original, Infinity Kappa, Elemental subs, Diamond Audio M3, M5, Hex, and M6. I suggest Diamond Audio M3 CM312D4 12" DVC sub. This is the best bang for the buck sub. This sub will out performance the JL 12W3V2 for the money, SQ, and SPL. This DA sub will fit in my S-2 box and just 110$ for the sub online (www.onlinecarstereo.com). The box by itself just weight 18 lbs. Please click on pictures to enlarge.
