| We had two interns from the States doing a 7 week short-term missions trip with us. Abby (left) and Jessica (right) taught the younger grades during the week long Holiday Bible Club. Marie and Bernice taught the older children. Each of the teachers taught lessons from the Gospel of John. Because Abby and Jessica were teaching the younger children they had to teach through translators as shown below (Lungile on the left and Nomsa on the right). This proved difficult for the girls on Monday, but both of them overcame the difficulty and did a very good job teaching the Word of God to the children the rest of the week. One of the unexpected blessings that came out of this HBC was that most of the children who were there seemed to be there more for the Bible than for the snacks and games. We are hoping to follow up on a number of these children and on their parents. | |||||||||||||||||||
