| Rhino Lion Park visit--7 July 2008 | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| We took a trip to the Johannesburg Rhino-Lion Park. The Park is somewhere in between a big zoo and a nature reserve. Here we visited the nursery (creche) and were allowed to pet the lion cub. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Enough already! | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Marie and Josh got to pet a curious zebra. Who said zebras couldn't be tamed? | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Waterbucks--I bet you can't guess how they get their name. Male is in the back. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| The famous put your head in the sand ostrich | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| The rare roan with the loveable warthog | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Okay, well Tigers aren't exactly indigineous. But this one seemed to take an attraction to Marie--here pretty, pretty! | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
