| Anytime you put on a programme like the Holiday Bible Club we put on in Thokoza, there are the "other things" that go on that are not as readily recognized. These other things in our case included snack time and taxi rides. The snacks were quarter slices of oranges which were given out each day. Can you imagine American children being satisfied with 1/4 of an orange for a snack. These kids were. The last day we included a couple of bisquits (cookies). Below you see the children filing through to get their snack. Robertina and Collins were manning the table for crowd control. They had to wash their hands first before receiiving the snack. | |||||||||||||||
| Since we are working in an area that comprises three towns we had to do some transport of workers and their children (or friends as in the picture on the left). Our combi (VW van) served as the taxi. As you can see from the picture on the right, we had to sqeeze them in at times. | |||||||||||||||
