"Mrs Bissaillon Reaches 87th Birthday Today"
Mrs. Delima C. Bissaillon of 47 Noblehurst Avenue is observing her 87th birthday today. There will be no special celebration. Mrs. Bissaillon, who was born in Clintonville, N.Y., has been a widow since 1928. She has one son Arthur B. Bissaillon whom she makes her home. she is a member of Notre Dame Church. Speaking of Christmas presents, there's Mrs. Delima Bissaillon, who lives with her son, Dr. A. B. Bissaillon and his family at 47 Noblehurst Avenue. A mysterious savings bank check for $100 arrived a few days ago with an unsigned note saying the sender owed it to her late husband Edmond Bissaillon. Mr. B. had been in the clothing business in North Adams, and died 25 years ago. Mrs. B. hoped that if we mentioned it here, the sender would see it, and realize she is most grateful to him. Incidently, when her husband's business closed, there was about $4000 outstanding. Perhaps this will start a trend. who knows? (source: The Berkshire Evening Eagle; Friday, December 22, 1950)
