     Roger Edmond Bezio, 66, a retired Air Force staff sergeant, died Saturday, July 5, 2003, at his home. Graveside service: 10 a.m. Wednesday in Indian Creek Cemetery. He served in the Air Force during the Korean and Vietnam wars. He was preceded by his wife, Jimme Bezio in 1997; and two brothers. Survivors Daughter and husband, Connie and Richard Johnson; sons and wives, William and Renee Bezio, Timothy and Toni Bezio, Joey and Krystale Bezio and Gregg Bezio; grandchildren Sarah Johnson, Brent Bezio and Connor Bezio.

     WEBSTER -- Henry A. Bezio, 80, formerly of 21 Park St., a longtime leader in veterans' affairs, died Friday night in Mariner Health Care Center, Worcester, after a long illness. He lived many years in Gardner. His wife, Flora A. (Case) Bezio, died in 1970. He leaves two daughters, Mamie H. Montville of Gardner and Rose G. Bezio in Florida; two stepdaughters Leona Morin and Gloria Delphia, both of Fitchburg; two brothers, Arthur J. Bezio of Templeton and Roger Bezio of Graford, Texas; three grandsons; a great-granddaughter; six step-grandchildren; nephews and nieces. He was born in Gardner; son of William H. and Mamie H. (Gay) Bezio, and lived there until he moved to Webster in 1976. He graduated from Gardner High School in 1932 and New England Institute of Embalming & Funeral Directing, Boston, in 1948. He was an Army veteran of World War II. Mr. Bezio was a clerk at Wheelan Supply Co. in Gardner for 20 years, retiring in 1976. He was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church in Gardner and a charter member of Gardner Chapter 70, Disabled American Veterans. He was a member and past commander of Gardner Post 129 and Webster-Dudley Post 184, American Legion. He was a member and past commander of Sub-District 1 and Sub-District 4, American Legion. He was a member and past commander of Worcester County Voiture and former state officer of Massachusetts Voiture, 40 & 8. He was a former president of the Webster-Dudley Veterans Council. The funeral will be Tuesday from Dufault-Boucher Funeral Home, 110 Nichols St., Gardner. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Gardner. Calling hours are 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 7 Oak St., Worcester, 01609.

     MINERAL WELLS -- Jimmie Faye Bezio, 57, a homemaker, died Saturday, Feb. 15, 1997, at a Wichita Falls hospital. Graveside service: 2 p.m. Monday in Indian Creek Cemetery in Palto Pinto County. Jimmie Faye Bezio was born April 20, 1939, Leflore, Okla. She was a Baptist. Survivors: Husband, Roger E. Bezio of Mineral Wells; daughter, Lonnie and husband Richard Johnson of Wichita Falls; mother Ruby Smith of Graford; brothers Jack Smith, Fred Smith, Allen Smith, Clay Smith, Tony Smith and Tim Smith, all of Graford; grandchildren, Saraon of Wichita Falls and Brent Bezio of Mineral Wells; aunts Hattie Hall, Dee Horan Opal Gentry; and numerous nieces and nephews. Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Mineral Wells.
