     The Rev. Omer Champagne was celebrant of the requiem mass at 8 o'clock this morning in St. Joseph's church for Mrs. Melvina Bartlett. Marinette resident who died Thursday. Pallbearers were Fred Belonga, August Senechal, Harry Benville and Irving Feifarek. Burial was in Forest Home cemetery. Miss Arlene DeMille of Milwaukee, Mr. and Mrs. Gust Longsine of Oconto and Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Boylier of Iron Mountain were here for the funeral.

     Parents: Joseph DeMille and Matilda Cheltreau

Wilfred DeMille, 66, of 900 Lakeview avenue, Menominee, died about 7 p.m. Friday at Marinette General hospital. Death was caused by heart disease with which he had been afflicted for a week. Mr. DeMille was born in Canada on August 16, 1875. For 19 years he lived at Daggett and for the last 19 years had been residing in Menominee. He was a railroad engineer for 15 years and in Menominee was a millwright for the M. and M. Paper Company. He retired several years ago. He was a member of the Holy Name society of St. Ann's church where the Rev. Francis Geynet will intone a solemn mass of requiem at 9 a.m. Monday. Burial will be in Forest Home cemetery in Marinette. The remains will be removed from the Lemieux funeral home to the family residence early Sunday afternoon and will lie in state there until 8:30 a.m. Monday when brief services are conducted in the home. Mr. DeMille leaves his wife, the former Alvina Bezio whom he married on April 28, 1896 at Stephenson and nine children, Mrs. Michael Chaltry, Thomas, Beatrice, Arlenem, Clarence and Hazel of Menominee, Mrs. Julius Rettke Jr. of Marinette, and Mrs. Edward Lewandowski of Milwaukee, 14 grandchildren, and the following brothers and sisters Louis DeMille of Green Bay, John and Henry DeMille of Stephenson, Paul DeMille of Perronville, Mrs. C.A. Hanson and Mrs. Rose LeMire of Green Bay.

Final rites for Wilfred DeMille, Menominee resident who died Friday night at Marinette General hospital, were held at 8:30 today in the family home, 900 Lakeview avenue, and at 9 a.m. in St. Ann's church. The Rev. Francis Geynet intoned the solemn mass of requiem and burial was in Forest Home cemetery in Marinette. Acting as pallbearers were two sons of the deceased, Roy and Clarence DeMille, and four brothers, John, Paul, Henry and Louis DeMille, Mrs. John Kaltenbach and Mrs. Laurence Kaltenbach were in charge of flowers. Out of town persons attending the rites included, Louis DeMille, Mrs. Rose Lemire, Mr. and Mrs. Richard DeMille of Green Bay, John DeMille, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Chaltry, Mr. and Mrs. Earl DeMille, William and Rupert DeMille of Stephenson, Mr. and Mrs. Paul DeMille of Peronville, Mrs. Mary Carriveau and Mr. and Mrs. Edward Menor of Oconto, Mrs. Francis Hanson of Chicago, Mrs. A.C. Johnson, Mrs. Henry Cromberg, Mrs. John DeMille and Jack Cromberg of Wakefield, Mr. and Mrs. E. Lewansowski of Milwaukee, Mr. and Mrs. Roy DeMille of Marquette.

     Roland S. Bisaillon Sr., 80, of Fairhaven, died Thursday, March 27, 1997 at Mariner Health Care of Southeastern Massachusetts after a long illness. He was the widower of Edith (Souza) Bisaillon and Mary C. (Fenton) Fletcher-Bisaillon. Born in Fairhaven, he was the son of the late Adelard and Eva Marie (Deschenes) Bisaillon. He lived most of his life in Fairhaven. He was a parishioner of St. Joseph Church in Fairhaven and worked as a self-employed auto mechanic and former owner of the Spring Street Garage in Fairhaven. A U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, he was awarded the Victory Medal, the American Area Ribbon and the Asiatic Pacific Ribbon with one star. He was a member of the VFW Post 6643 in Freetown. Survivors include a son, Roger Bisaillon of Tampa, Fla.; step-children Norma J. Lucas of Acushnet, Marilyn A. Laliberte of Lakeville, Janice M. Martin, Richard N. Fletcher, Kathleen Wilhelmsen and Robert D. Fletcher, all of Fairhaven; two brothers, John Bisaillon of Wareham and Raymond Bisaillon of San Jose, Calif.; a sister Martha Bisaillon of Fairhaven; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; nine step-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was the father of the late Roland D. Bisaillon Jr., and brother of the late Adelard Bisaillon Jr., Lucienne Bisaillon, Roger Bisaillon, Emilien Bisaillon, Zephire "Fee" Bisaillon, Romeo Bisaillon, Florence Golenski and Dorothy Bisaillon. A funeral Mass will be held at St. Joseph Church on Tuesday at 10 a.m. Arrangements are by the Fairhaven Funeral Home, 117 Main St., Fairhaven.
