     Dorothy R. LaPier, 74, of Wasson Street in Witherbee, died Wednesday, Feb. 14, 2001 at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh. She was born in Morrisonville on May 6, 1926, the daughter of Napoleon and Alexandrina (Renaudette) Bisaillon. She is survived by her daughter, Arlene Wojewodzic and sons Marty and Justin of Witherbee; her sons and daughters-in-law, Richard and Debbie LaPier of Mineville, Larry LaPier and Julia Reynolds of Plattsburgh, Homer and JoAnne LaPier of Port Henry, James and Cheryl LaPier of Port Henry and Paul LaPier of Witherbee; 14 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; her brother, Omer Bisaillon of Moriah, a close niece, Arlene Cocco; close friends Agnes Mandy and Shirley Trombley; and several nieces and nephews. She was prededceased by her parents; her husband Homer LaPier, on July 17, 1992; her sisters, Rita Violette, Edith Bisaillon and Blanch Nichols; and her brother, Raymond Bisaillon. Calling hours will be held Friday, Feb. 16, 2001, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Harland Funeral Home in Port Henry. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Saturday, Feb. 17, 2001, 10 a.m. at the Church of All Saints in Mineville with Father Michael Toth officiating. Burial will be in St. Peter and Paul Cemetary in the spring. Memorial donations may be made to the Town of Moriah Ambulance Squad.

     Omer J. Bisaillon, 87, of Moriah, died Friday, May 11, 2001, at the Community Hospital in Elizabethtown. He was born July 13, 1913, in Morrisonville, the son of Napolean and Alexandrina (Renaudette) Bisaillon. He was a member of the American Legion Post 14 and the Eagle Club in Vergennes, Vt. Omer is survived by his wife of 62 years, Helen (Tromblee) Bisaillon of Moriah; three daughters, Roseanne and her husband Joseph LaSacco of Albany, Suzanne and her husband Tony Fernandez of Witherbee and Janet Wojewodzic of Moriah; one son, Joseph and his wife Patrice of Waterbury, Conn.; five grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; his brother Raymond Bisaillon; and his sisters, Rita Violette, Edith Bisaillon, Blanch Nichols and Dorothy LaPier. Calling hours will be held on Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Harland Funeral Home in Port Henry. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. at St. Patrick's Church in Port Henry. Burial will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery in Moriah. Memorial donations may be made to the Town of Moriah Ambulance Squad.

     Lucille G. (Pfeffer) Lehmann, age 76, a resident of Little Falls, MN, died May 31, 1999, at St. Otto's Care Center in Little Falls. Funeral services were held on June 5 at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Rev. Nicholas Landsberger officiating. Burial will be June 7 in St. Paul's Catholic Church Cemetary in Sauk Centre. Lucille was born July 13, 1922, in Bancroft, IA to the late Albert and Lucy (Hatten) Bisaillon. At an early age she moved with her family to Sebeka, MN. Her family later moved to Osakis, MN. In 1930, she moved to the Lyman Prairie area, south of Sauk Centre, MN. She attended the Lyman Prairie Country School until her freshman year at which time she transferred to the Brooten High School. She graduated from Sauk Centre High School in 1940. Lucille moved to Little Falls in 1955, where she was first employed at the Pine Edge Inn. In 1968, she started working at the Morrison County Social Services office, retiring in 1982. She moved to Pine River, MN in 1985, residing there until 1988. Lucille moved to Carlos, MN and, in 1997, returned to Little Falls, where she resided until her death. Lucille was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Little Falls, and was a past member and past president of the Little Falls Legion Auxiliary. She was active in the Carlos Senior Citizens Club and was the volunteer site manager at the Sportsman Cafe in Carlos. Survivors include her sons, Donald Pfeffer of Little Falls, Roman Pfeffer of Felton, DE; daughters, Jean Johannes and husband, Ron of Aurora, CO, Pat Tedman of Victoria, MN, Marilyn Kummet and husband, John, of Baxter, MN, JoAnne Reis and husband, Gary of Grand Junction, CO, Rosie Reis and husband Greg of Grand Junction, CO; sister, LaVonne Ragan of North Platte, NE, 14 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
