John Bezio, an old resident of Marinette, died very suddenly about one o'clock this morning. He was in good health last night and was walking around town yesterday. Last night he and his wife entertained some of the neighbors and Mr. Bezio seemed unusually cheerful. About one o'clock this morning his wife who was sleeping with him was awakened by a gurgling sound in his throat. As he had been coughing she thought it was due to that. She reached over to unbutton his shirt band. His face and neck felt so cold that she jumped up in alarm and lighted a lamp. He expired in a few minutes. She ran to the neighbors and Dr. Brien was hurriedly called, but he passed away before the physician arrived. His death was due to heart failure. He was fifty-nine years old and has resided in Marinette many years. He is survived by his widow, two sons and two married daughters living in this city. He was a carpenter by trade and his home was at 1502 Newberry avenue.
