| A little background for those of you who might not know...there is an amusement park in the next town over from where I live, called Funtown...they have a lot of rides, and one of them is the Log Flume. That is what the picture below is of, with my Lindsey and her niece, Samantha, who was 10 years old at the time. They said they were having a good time, even though I think it looks like they just peed themselves going down... |
| Here is another ride there...this is Excalibur, the roller coaster. This hellish thing is rated number 10 in the country by the Theme Park Association of America, and it's the first roller coaster I have ever been on. The two girls in front of Lindsey and I are her neice Samantha (in Yellow) and her friend Ashley. You can see that they had their hands up and were having a great time. I, on the other hand, was not amused. See the veins sticking out of my arm? That's how hard I was gripping the bar in front of me. Terrified does not begin to describe what I was feeling at this point. Then it got worse. Take a good look at this picture, because you'll never see me on one of these damned contraptions again... |
