| Since the title of this page is "about me" I suppose I should tell you a little about myself. |
|
|
| I grew up on a farm sort of in the middle of nowhere. I attended Leola Public School and graduated in 1979. (Do the math...I am over the big 40!) After graduating from High School I sort of bummed around for that first summer, then attended Lake Area Vo-Tech in Watertown SD. Watertown is still one of my favorite cities. After finishing with my 'studies' there I went to work for Taylor Implement in Ipswich as a mechanic. After about three years of bruised knuckles and learning all the cuss words in the English language I changed jobs and became the parts manager at Spitzer Implement in Roscoe, SD. That was in the fall of 1983 and I worked there until the end of 2001. I was the General Parts Manager for the South Dakota Region of C&B Investments until I decided to change jobs again.At the beginning of 2002 I began work at R&T Enterprises in Roscoe. There I dispatched trucks and also do some accounting. At the beginning of 2003 I returned to work for C&B Operations. Like a bad penny I keep turning up! I am currently working there as the parts manager. |

| In my free time (seems like there is precious little of that) I enjoy doing a little golfing, and I like to go fishing, and NASCAR Racing. (GO DODGE!)You can most often find me sitting in front of the tube on Sunday afternoons watching cars going around in circles. I know, sounds like watching paint dry, but once you get hooked on it there is nothing like it! Please check out my racing page link below! My biggest hobby though has to be camping! Me and several friends try to get out every chance we can. We usually head for Mobridge SD where there are some great campsites. It is a great way to get away from things and RELAX. Of course a few adult beverages help too!! I am in the process of building a camping page for this site. You never know what may show up there! (What WILL my camping friends think??) |

| As far as sports I am a fan of all things Minnesota. Vikings, Twins, Timberwolves, Wild etc. I also am becoming a fan of hockey of all things! I went to a Nashville Predators game a couple of years ago with my sister and brother-in-law and let me tell you... Don't knock it until you go to a game. It is fast and furious!! I am looking forward to attending another game sometime. |

| Last but not least, my mother lives in the same town I do. My father is a resident of the Hosmer Senior Citezens Home. I have one sister, Laurie that lives in Nashville TN. I have been down to visit her a couple of times, and am hoping to do so again this year. Nashville is a cool place to visit! |
