O.K., a little bit about my car, it is a 1964 plymouth barracuda. It was originally an 273, 4speed car gold with gold and white interior. Nothing too special. It was purchased in Cheyenne, WY at Klipstiens Dodge. The Purchaser worked for the local AMC dealer and purchased the car to drag race. After gutting it, he took it to several races and don't know if he won any races or not. It was sold later to another guy who continued to race it. After several engines later, the rear axle locked up, it was towed home and a new axle installed. (I should mention, every race it was entered into, it was driven to, not towed or pulled on a trailer.) Soon it was back on the track. I believe sometime around 1975-1978 It was literally "put out to pasture" and there it sat for several more years. Throughout the years however, it was stolen and each time it was recovered, something was missing. The last time it was stolen, the hood, engine, trans., emblems and steering wheel were also missing uppon recovery. A few more years went by, the owner decided to bring from the pasture into Cheyenne and advertise locally to sell it. When I purchased it, it was a shell. I mean the body, glass, doors, and rear axle still remained. That was about it. My plans for it were simple. Build it to be a streetable car and also take it down the strip a few times to see what it would do. -more later-mike.
