Since my ownership of this MX6, I've come to realize one thing:  Many parts for these cars cannot be found at your local auto parts chain stores.  It requires a visit to your local Mazda dealer to find many of the simple replaceable items (hoses, gaskets, bearings, etc.).  Believe me, I have helped to keep my local Mazda dealer (Mazda Of Clarksville) in business!

Insulator (this is the all-important heat shield that is mounted to the top of the exhaust manifold to prevent spark plug wire meltdown!).  Mine was missing and I went through 3 sets of wires before I realized how important this shield is!

Elbow intake hose (which fits from the intercooler outlet tube to the throttle body).  These will crack (dry-rot) after awhile and cause strange idling and driveability problems.
