Overall - 7/10 - Feels very unsafe, but it isnt! Have a go by all means but it is long overdue for a revamp!

| Ah! The Log Flume! How that takes me back! I think this was probably the first ever ride with any type of drop that I ever went on! All the way back when I was like 8! Back then it seemed as if it was a white knuckler! This, to me, is possibly one of the most unsafe rides in the park! With its numerous leaks, no restraints and and easyness to just stand up and jump out at any time, I have never really felt safe on this ride! You queue up through what to me is a very tedious queue line, and then you go onto a rotating platform to board your log, which is one of the potentially most embarrasing moments in the park because if you are not paying 100% attention your body will be swept away from your legs as you step on it, which will probably make you fall over! Always a laugh! You board your log and along you go! It does take a rather long time to complete this ride, as you go through many trees and such, and then up to the first drop, which is quite small, but if there is only two of you in a log, which is built for 4, and there is nothing infront of you at all, it does feel quite unsafe! You take the first drop, which is fairly uneventful, and then you go through more trees, and then up to the second drop. You approach a building, and enter it, where it is pitch black, and the first time you ride, you never expect the drop in the dark, but there is one, and it can be quite frightening if you dont expect it! You then go through some more trees, and up to the final drop, which, in terms of a Log Flume, is HUGE! You get to the top and are told to smile for the cameras, and then you just drop! There is a potential to get quite wet on this ride, maybe depending on the ammount of weight in the log! Overall - 7/10 - Feels very unsafe, but it isnt! Have a go by all means but it is long overdue for a revamp! |
