I saw this style of drawing in Yoshitaka Amano's manga art. To those who don't know him, he's known for designing the characters to Final Fantasy. I found it difficult to capture his goth style though, so I just looked away and tried to make this piece as gothic as I can.

And I thought I will never draw anime again! This would be my semestral break piece. Yup, haphazardly done, so forgive the flaws. Flame if you want.

But you see, the fulfillment of being able to draw anime style does not compare with being able to draw realistically. I think I'll just reserve my bigger inspirations to when I have the time to make something OF this world.
