Illinois is the state I call home. It's a rather boring natural state but there are loads of man-made fun things to do. The city of Chicago has so much to offer that I really can't get excited about going to any other city. I go to Milwaukee and they rave about this or that and it's like "big deal, we've got that in Chicago." No matter where I go, Seattle, Denver, San Francisco, etc... I just can't get excited about shopping or site seeing in cites because Chicago has everything. That's probably why I like to go to places that have unique natural features. Rocky Mountains, Redwood trees, Olympic National Park, etc... are things that catch my fancy. So that's why you see the links you do on my virtual vacation pages.
So I have included some links to many of the exciting places Illinois has to offer. Included are also camping and other links that are interesting.
