Here is the latest from Nan's workshop.
She finished this piece (above) on Sept. 1, 2002. The bronze base is a Tiffany reproduction I gave her a few years ago. According to Nan, there's over 500 pieces of glass in the shade. She wouldn't guess at the number of hours it took to make this shade. It's a beauty! Click on the image to see a larger picture, it shows the glass illumination better.
I also added this piece that had not been on the webpage before.
The cast brass base came from a fleamarket sale a few years ago. It was black with age and dirt. I rewired it, cleaned and polished, and turned the walnut wood base and added brass feet.
This piece is a dragonfly made from leftover tile from our bath remodeling. We designed it to go outdoors and it hangs on our deck. I think it came out great!
The
butterfly and rose were designed and made by Nancy as a Christmas gift.

This lamp was a gift for my sister's 50th birthday. I turned the pieces for the base from Black Walnut and Nan made the shade.
Isn't this heron something?
It fits nicely into our double hung windows
and catches the morning
light in our guestroom.
This major project is the Tiffany
reproduction lampshade.
The photo doesn't do it
justice. It's on a heavy bronze lampbase
in our living room.
She's working on another with even more pieces. I hope it doesn't
take two years like the last one.
This tabletop is cast concrete with glass inlay. It's a technique
we saw up at a craft show and played around with until it came out well.
We coated the top with several coats of outdoor polyurithane to protect the
design from the elements. We'll bring it in during the winter.
The freezing and thawing will pop the glass out of the concrete if we don't.
