"This universe we live in was created."

Logically, the universe cannot be infinite.

Physics teaches us that every action has an equal and opposite reaction. The "reaction", though, is never exactly equal.  There is always a small amount of energy lost or redirected during the transaction, sometimes in the form of heat or friction.  This is the gist of the 2nd law of thermodynamics, and the effect is called entropy.  That is, the available working energy in the universe is always on the decrease. Think of billiard balls on a billard table.  No mater how hard you hit the billiard balls, eventually, after bouncing around the table a while, they will all come to a stop. So, if the universe has existed for an infinite amount of time, and the above laws apply,  all the available energy should have been used up, and all objects in the universe should be at rest.  Therefore, the universe cannot be infinitely old.

Physics also teaches us that an object at rest will stay at rest unless acted on by an outside force.  In other words, things don't move unless something moves them.

Since the universe is clearly in motion, and not at rest, I can logically conclude two things: the universe is not infinite, and somehow, someway, a long long time ago,  matter in the universe was somehow moved, to begin the "action-reaction" chain.

If the universe is not infinite and has not always existed, there had to be a starting point. There is no logical way around this fact. That also means somewhere, sometime, there had to be a first "action" to set the universe in motion. Think about it. Somehow, the universe was set in motion. But how? It's kind of like the arguement, "which came first, the chicken or the egg?".  In this case, though, it's clear there had to be an "action" to get things started. Even if the universe had been sitting unmoving for eternity, there still had to be an initial "action" to start the "reaction".  Somehow, there was mover, able to move on its own outside the confines of our universe (because if it was OF our universe, it would not be able to move on it's own without being acted on by some other force), which moved, and caused all other movement to begin.  Like billiard balls sitting on a table, unless someone moves them, they will not move. Such it is with our universe.

Logic can only conclude one thing:  If the universe exists (of which we are certain because we live in it); if movement exists, it  had to have a start (again, we are certain of such a thing because we live in a moving, dynamic universe), and the universe is not infinite in nature, there there must have been a starting point. Somehow, the universe was brought into existance.  Created.  Made.  To believe otherwise is intellectual laziness.

This is a simple examination using just a few very simple scientific facts.  Science is pointing more and more to the same conclusion.  We don't often hear about it  because many people do not want there to be a creator. But just because some do not want it, does not mean it is not so.
