| A Special Child |
| There is a little girl who is very special to Chosen Purpose . She is Kenley Purdy Mike and Stacy's niece and P.J.'s little sister. She has a multitude of problems, most genetic in nature . Including blepharophimosis, ptosis, epicanthus inversus syndrome, or BPES. Kenley is being raised by Rev Robert and Sherry Landcaster , pastor of Trinity United Metodist in Alexander city AL, while We ( Mike & Stacy ) are raising her brother PJ ....if you've ever been to a concert or service with Chosen Purpose then you know PJ..:) Kenley will be traveling to St Louis MO July 5th to see Dr Rick Martin one of the most knowledgeable Drs we've found on blepharophimosis, ptosis, epicanthus inversus syndrome, or BPES. This trip alone will cost in excess of $20,000.00 We held a benefit concert August 27th at Trinity United Methodist in Alexander City AL . thanks to the efforts of our friends The Cokers , to the end , New Life and David shellnut .and many others we were able to raise in excess of $400 (see the link above ) All we are asking is that you would keep this little girl in your prayers and if there is anyway you could possibly help , to just do as God leads you God Bless Mike www.chosenpurpose.cjb.net [email protected] |
