I bought the car back in March of '97. For the most part the car was a normal '91 GXE with the 1.6 liter engine and an automatic transmission. However for some reason it came with ABS and 4 wheel dic brakes which is very cool. After a while I got the performance bug and from then on I worked to make my car ONE OF A KIND. For while it was the basics and then I wanted more power. So in went the 2.0 liter or SR20DE engine and a 5 speed. I did it all myself including putting in the clutch petal. The car went through many different phases including, home made clear tail lights and custom bumpers that I did all myself. I also went through a few problems and set backs along the way, including a few rebuilds of the SR20DE and then going to a JDM SR20DE. And just when I thought the cars long journy was almost finished it was taken out a RAM, a Dodge Ram that is with a drunk driver behind the wheel. So that ended that project but the sprit still lives on in my new car because most everything is in that car now including the engine. Only this time I didn't have to do the clutch petal. |

New rims, spoiler, exgaust, paint, M3 side markers, shaved antena and put on the roof, I made my own clear tail lights, and yes I modified a civic front bumper and civic fog lights to fit. |

After my 1.6 kicked the bucket, I looked around and bought a front cut of a '94 SE-R and put the engine in my car. Buying the front cut was the best way to go because I was able to get everything I needed to do the swap like the clutch petal and shift linkage. The engine only last a month and then I had to rebuild it. The engine had alot more mile than the junk yard told me. With the new rebuilt engine I ran a best with this car, a 15.4@88mph. |

The '94 engine blew twice and after the second time I went with buying a JDM SR20DE and I still have that one with no problems. I custom made my front a rear bumbers. The front one was for a 200sx and the rear one was from a honda civic. I just cut and add to make them fit. I all so have the real clear tail lights fron Niz-knacks which I put red reflectors in to keep the cops from messing with me. |
