| You and a partner are given the task of writing, editing and publishing your own Civil War newspaper. Your time spent in the computer lab should be used for retrieving information on the 8 topic arreas and formatting your newspaper for print. Each Group must do the following: a. Create a catchy name for the newspaper (relevant to the Civil War) b. Use Microsoft Publisher (or similar software) c. Insert a minmum of 4 pictures (relevant to the Civil War) d. Compare the Presidential elections of 1860 and 1864 using either bar graphs or pie charts that you have created using Microsoft Excel. Do not cut and paste graphs from other sources. e. Select 8 topics from the list below, or any others that you may choose. Research, edit and format each topic into your newspaper. (each partner should take 4 topics). Possible Topics 1.
