The place where Diana had been killed (Pont de L'Alma) was the site of an ancient Temple devoted to the pagan Goddess Diana, and that the 13th pillar where she met her death was explicitly chosen to be the exact point where the altered Mercedes would impact.

• Witnesses heared a large explosion before the actual impact of the car
• The Paris security cameras in and around the tunnel were all switched off just before the accident, with the official word being that they were shut down for repairs
• the French ambulances 'getting lost' to the scene
• the many hours it took to get Diana to hospital
• dying from something she would have otherwise survived
• the blood and autopsies were seriously mishandled in the resulting chaos
• no heavy amounts of alcohol or even the smell were recorded to have been in the driver (Henri Paul) organs at the time of death
• Diana having been immediately drained of all blood and embalmed (mummified) at the hospital before having a proper investigation
